I have been in the direct care field for 15 years. Between Home Health Care and Direct Support Services. I have saved 2 lives using CPR or First Aid techniques. I enjoy teaching lifesaving skills. I am always eager to learn new things so that I may pass on my knowledge to others. My hope through this training course is that others will now be able to go out and in the event of an emergency have the knowledge and skills to assist when and if needed to help save a life. I have always strived to be the best I can be and now I will have the extra know-how to teach others the basic life-saving skills needed. I have always wanted to broaden my experiences and become an instructor; I’ve learned from some of the best teachers and now I too will get to be someone people will remember when they use their skills in the future. I hope that everyone leaves my training with the knowledge and the courage to know when to use their training and know that they were taught by someone who is compassionate about life-saving skills. Your first-time doing CPR in real life is scary, but the feeling of knowing you saved a life is unremarkably unbelievable.
